I refuse to pay anything over msrp. Dealers should be fined for it. These trucks and broncos are throw away cars imo. In don't think in 50 years we will see raptor and bronco resto mods. We are seeing over inflation and greed. It will eventually all go aways and people paying massive amounts more than what something is worth will be lost. My opinion anyway

theres no way something will hold its value if you pay 35% over its sticker price. Best case scenario the vehicle holds 75% of its MSRP value if you actually drive it and own it a few years. Id recommend patience and wait until economy hits the crapper which its looking like its going to in the next 6-12 months. the supply chain should improve in that time as well. Im already noticing dealer lots filling up with supply. wait it out and maybe year 2 of bronco raptor they will be MSRP

Uh yeah, as much as I’d like a Bronco Raptor, or a Raptor R for that matter, they just aren’t worth much over sticker to me. Would I pay 5 to 10 max over? Probably would. As my wife likes to joke, I blow my nose in Benjamins. But I got better things to do with them than unjustly enrich a stealer.

Sorry but theres only one Raptor. The bronco raptor is not worthy of the name and the nerf wheel arches are a joke. Id pay 60 k for that thing max. Id pay 135 k to drop a v8 in a gladiator with dana 60’s, long arms, king shocks and roll 40’s before i bought that thing. My personal opinion but just not a fan.

Maybe I’m the only one, nah, can’t be, but I can’t help but wonder if the truck was stolen or totaled, would insurance cover any portion of the ADM.

If you have replacement value and if prices are still stupid high. 99.9% of the time, ADM is money pissed down the drain.

Insurance adjuster here - the average policy will payout a total or theft based on the actual cash value which is based on comps within a 75 mile radius. They can expand further if needed. I haven’t ran into a total loss where someone paid ADM but if the comps were below what they paid then we’d pay the average price within those comps.

I can actually back this statement. Years ago when I had a car totaled, the insurance payoff actually came along with comps, just like a broker does in assessing price of a home.

That being said, if the only comps you find are 20-30k over sticker, which seems to be the case for now, would you pay that amount?

Patience and persistence will pay off. keep calling dealers and tell them to call back as soon as they can honor MSRP. WIth rates as high as they are and rising, and with all the 23s finally hitting lots, buyers are backing out of their orders. Thats what happened to mine. Buyer backed out and dealer needed it gone. Paid MSRP.
