About time you joined the family! Welcome my friend and nice fabrication work. I can tell you love working on your truck and moding it your way. For a yr 10 it looks fantastic and well cared for. Good on you! Keep on enjoying the ride and making it better your way.

Damn, great job on the fabrication! Looking forward to seeing the rear bumper, you keeping the stock spare location or building a tire holder into the bumper?

Thanks guys! Rear bumper is 90% complete. Going to add a couple more tubes for support, trailer electrical hook up, license plate w/ lighting and an aluminum skid plate to fill the gaps.

Very nice. Can you take a picture of your spare tire carrier without the tire on it? I want something simple and identical to that for my spare I want to see how you went about mounting it. Truck looks great

I like the sleek clean look. Not into the big boxed style bumpers. Couldn’t find a bumper that gives ground clearance, departure angle and tow hitch option. Requires frame cut to achieve all of this. Decided to do my own spin on it.

Pretty pleased with the outcome. Still needs a little something though. Looking for two matching spares (Gen 2) and I’ll build my second tire carrier for the left side.

Roush2012- I’ll get some photos of the tire carrier without the tire on it. It’s just secured to the bed right now (4x bolt points). I may add an additional side mount to prevent the unforeseen happening. In my mind this is a prototype, because I’m not sure how much I like it yet.
