I have a 2011 Raptor which is used in extremely harsh conditions in Liberia West Africa. It is always in the 90 plus degrees and heavy mud in the wet season choking dust in the dry.

The truck started running rough on idle and became had to start. The fuel tank became hard to fill the it would take 15 minutes to fill the tank.

I took it to the service place to have the fuel filter replaced (i have the filter) Pentius PFB65574 supplied to me by the dealer in the USA.

The service station could not find anywhere to fit that filter they think its inside the fuel tank.

They say the played with the fuel filler flap and sais it was a breathing problem and it was all fixed.Within 10 minutes it was doing it again -Running rough at idle then cutting out.

I need some info on this please as we are in a remote location. The fuel quality here is also very very bad.

The other thing is that the warning message LOW TYRE PRESSURE is on all the time but the tyres are fine.???

I would really appreciate some help on this issue.
The truck has covered 20k miles of extremely hard work but has been not a single problem before this fuel/air problem.

Sounds like the canister purge valve.

There is no filter just a screen in the tank. It probably needs to be cleaned too.

The tire pressure sensor in one of your tires might of been damaged. Have you ever changed a tire and put the spare on? The spare doesn't have a pressure sensor and will put that warning on. I can't remember how to reset the icon on the dash, but there is a way. Somebody else??

I would recommend e-30 ethanol. make sure your changing your oil if in dusty conditions. tire pressure is sensitive get a gage and read the door drivers and it tells you the psi.

It's starting to get old, every one should know by now to just use it.

Dude is in liberia for the love of god, if they have an access of grains they would be sold to a neighboring country for food and not to use grossly inefficent means to turn it into a fuel for trucks.

just saying...

they would have both if corn made into ethanol food and fuel, the ddg feeds animals we eat animals or you could make cornflakes out of the ddg because the only thing ethanol takes out of the corn is the starch too much is bad for animals and people.
