Never realized the earlier raptors had rear sway bars. Wonder why Ford removed them? Seeing what Ford wanted the truck used for, superior off-roading, you would think they would have removed the front sway bar and kept the rear. Similar to modern day trophy trucks. This would greatly improve independent suspension articulation in the front. The rear can only articulate so much, being a solid axle, therefore keep the sway bar in the rear.

One of these days I'll get out there.

I wonder if they flew it in, I noticed it had temporary plates on it.

Sweet! Such a smooth handling beast! My daily commute feels like it approaches that level at times, especially through the downtown mixmaster. When it's possible. At times there are a lot of slower moving vehicles to weave through. I usually start out running a few minutes behind, but this truck makes it up so that I end up being early!

They changed the sway bar in the front, and added one to the rear.. (i have confirmation on that) Now as far as the exact set up, pretty tight lipped. It is not hellwig set up or anything currently offered that I know of. Unconfirmed (trusted) source said that the Raptor was tested with rear sway bar. It was mounted to the bottom of upper shock mount. The hole for nutsert is still present at least in 2011 and 2012 Raptors that I have personally seen.
