Wastegate Rattle on Startup Fix?

Did you ever get the wastegate rattle fixed?

Are you sure it is not cam phaser rattle? There are bunch complaining about that now.

Has anyone had success with a fix? I had the cam phasers replaced a while ago, but I have the wastegate actuators on both turbos rattling like a can of spray paint, and Ford says this is "normal". We all know this isn't normal as we wouldn't have bought the vehicles if they did this when we bought them. My Raptor is a 2018 with 53k on the clock.

I think there was a TSB for this at one point but not sure what years it applied to. Even with the TSB they can still rattle. Some have apparently fixed it with a spring from Lowes: Hillman part #543183

saw some dude put a rubber washer on it. solved the issue. look it up on you tube.

I start mine remotely 99% of the time, so never notice

The TSB only applies to 2017 for some reason. It doesn’t hurt anything.

18+ have different turbos and should already have the springs on the linkage.

17' mine is a very light chittering hum like a generator for 1min and only notice since i park in the garage

2019 supercab, Hillman spring on for one week now and rattle is GONE!!!!!
