(grin)_correct but it sure makes it easy. At the Ford Performance Raptor Assault, we were encouraged to use "left foot braking" to smooth the ride and reduce drive train shock. Think of it like this, as a tire crawls up the front of the "rock", the drive train gets loaded to push but as soon as the tire breaks over the top ordinarily, the wheel would turn enough to load the drive train for hold. This can amount to as much as a 1/4 turn of the wheel. If you are using "left foot braking" you negate that unwind or 1/4 turn to hold. Ford does all this for you in the trail control mode making for smooth crawling.Trail control is for sissies. Real men don't need it.
