this wont work as there is a power draw negotion that takes place on usb data connections. This is so that a device does not draw more power than the port can provide.  If you want high power charging from that port you will have to remove the data lines from it also.  Even still this may not work for devices that negotiate power draw with the charger via the qi protocol such as new Samsung devices.
