Two Gen 3 Raptors!

So last week I joined after I got my Velocity blue GEN three raptor. Well yesterday I traded in my GEN 2 and bought another GEN 3 here in Florida. Picked up a code orange 37 package. I will probably mod the hell out of my 37 package and keep the blue one stock with maybe just a set of wheels.

I would say they both drive amazing. The 37 hits the bumps a lot smoother and you feel more with the 35s.
The 37 does feel a bit heavier, but not very noticeable. I feel higher off the ground with the 37s and would definitely recommend getting this package or upgrading tire size.

Now all I need to do is find a spare beadlock wheel so I can install my tire carrier in the bed.

The 37 package is overkill. Unless you have a particular need or use for the extra ground clearance, the 37 package is really not “ better”. The 35 package is faster, lighter, and allows for more wheel travel. Most people are buying the 37 package strictly for looks and bragging rights, when in reality once the R is officially released the 35 and 37 package will be worth the same on the used market. The other fact a lot of people don’t realize is that for desert racing, which is what the raptor is really intended for use wise, the 35 is the better choice = lighter and allows you more wheel travel.
