BUNMAN-Adventures, Rescue & Recovery
Twin Point, deep within the Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument can be difficult to find but worth the effort, as are all of the Canyon Overlook Points. The days Adventure was a 12 hour journey roundtrip in the saddle. This includes several stops along the way to take the pictures that I have shared here and to let the Vicious Hounds stretch their legs. In the long days of summer you can enjoy the Incredible drive home. The down side is, in July the GCPNM can be MFING HOT and downright Dangerous, especially traveling SOLO as I do. A Tow from parts of the GCPNM can easily exceed $1k, if you can get someone to respond from Kanab, Mesquite or St George. A good phone number to keep handy would be, Matt's Off Road Recovery (Winder Towing) out of Hurricane UT. Problem is, getting to a Mnt Top to try and catch a cell signal.
