Turn Off Backup Sensor

If the tailgate is down, how is the backup sensor deactivated on both the 2019 and 2021?

On my 17, it's gives me the option to turn off backup sensor on the instrument cluster as soon as I put it reverse, for about 10 seconds, toggle with the selector buttons on the left side of the steering wheel

I figured out the 2021, but not the 2019. The 2021, go to features, sensors and the you will see forward and backup sensors.

Every time you put it in reverse you should see a screen like this on the gauge cluster:
