yeah that "racing motor" they speak of is a VERY different bottom end and VERY different heads and cams.

do what ya like, but I wouldnt touch that kit with a 10 foot pole unless I had the deck sealed on my motor, some head work, a mechanical oil pump that WAS NOT computer controlled, and a few other things.

these motors need to be reinforced. they are so damn sensitive that Id never trust my truck if that kit was hanging off of it.

Pure turbo has a bolt on bigger turbo, no upgrade manifold needed. A little less than 4k but they add a core charge until they get yours back. It seems like a better option for stock bottom

Wonder what the difference is between those and the Gearhead turbos. I guess I’m seeing billet wheel vs clipped wheel?

Talk to them........they have the motor builds you need. Don't listen to the "purests" crowd on here that runs from the power these motors are capable of.

Don't listen to the clown who said a "closed deck" llmmaaaoooo, which is probably an Evo owner, that offers the LEAST amount of cooling out of any engine build and made for drag cars, you can't make this shit up.

there are voids in the block and in the heads that dont pass coolant or anything else. you need to fill them and "close the deck" to provide extra strength to combat higher boost levels, ya "clown".

have fun popping your motor. I'll stick with my engine builder and his recommendations. I've gotten over 200mph in my NA gt350 that he built a motor for.

Us "clowns" will stick to our own party, and we don't need an arrogant ***** like you at said party.

I wouldn't put that turbo kit on a stock motor no matter what someone paid me and I doubt the OP has the coin to spring for a brand new crate motor after he windows his factory motor.

and while livernois took apart the last motor that full race nuked during testing, they arent building the new ones. Jus sayin.

the new builder they're using just completed a 4.2 motor using the 3.5 block from a raptor for them.

I will most likely be going with pure turbos. I’d be shocked if the motor couldn’t take the extra power, so long as the tune is good and maybe run some e85 to be safe. Switzer performance got a Raptor to 550-600whp. Pure turbos is testing the turbos in the next week or two I believe and will post dyno sheets along with it.
