I'd say a Tune....is an unneeded risk. Is it really worth it, for minimal gain? I would argue your truck will perform as it should without the risk. Think about it.

If you wanted a sports car....

all good points, to me it just feels like there is so much more available from the truck. I just ordered a corsa extreme exhaust, maybe the sound will liven things up enough for a while (at least it will sound faster!)

I struggle with the tune debate myself... I mean lets say our trucks came with 475 or even 500 HP from the factory. Would we still be looking for a bit more? My point is tune or no tune you will still get to work, or the grocery store, or mall no matter what. So if the dealer was selling them it would be one thing but to risk a warranty makes me think twice. Having said that its human nature to change stuff and I am bad about modifying stuff who know next week I will probably be calling 5 star! lol

Just from my initial playing, I think the tune will make a huge difference off roading, throttle pickup off corners is amazing and holding shift points longer is nice.

Tuner is awesome. It's that simple. If you're that worried, find a dealer that is known to be mod friendly near you. I personally don't like factory warranty because I don't care for dealer maintenance. I like to actually know the guys that work on my vehicles.

Isn't that what the Sports mode does?

Keep it stock. I dont think the tune is needed as much on the 6.2L as it is with the 5.4L (due to constant down shifting). The only reason I got the tune is because it is needed with the headers.

OMG, the Stock Tune Sucks!!!
Just trying to pass somebody was a hit or miss if you where going to get the right gear or peg the Tach and get bogged down.
Or just sit there and wait till the damn thing would make up it's mind.

The quick throttle response is just a short learning curve.

DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's off-road mode and you shouldn't use it for the street. Read your manual.

Is the truck not fast enough for you?

Wasn't for me! LOL

411 fwhp is not enough for a 6000lbs. truck.
