The TruckGear by LINE-X hard retractable cover is a rebadged TruckCoversUSA cover. If you get it through a LINE-X dealer, you will get a lifetime warranty on the cover, otherwise TCUSA cover has a 2 year warranty.

I've had this cover since I bought the truck in 2011. The only issue has been the release rods holding the bed cover closed. You have to make sure you adjust the side rails in enough to not stop the cover from rolling but close enough to not let the cover shift side to side and open on it's own when you are off roading. It has held up well. I think the load rating is 500lbs.
I agree if you can get the same bed cover from Line X and it has a life time warranty and it's cheaper then I would go for it. You won't be disappointed in the cover.

Appreciate the heads up on the setup of the cover. Definitely going to check with line x here. Thanks for the feedback.

What model number is that? The Truck Gear website is out-of-date.

How much did it cost?

The model numbers are specific for each vehicle. You have to call a LINE-X dealer for a price.
My local dealer had never heard of this cover and neither had his supplier. I then gave them the model number that the Truck Gear website lists for a 2012 Raptor, which is #11269, and they still could not come up with any info on the cover.

All of the Truck Gear model numbers for the TCUSA cover start with "TG". You or the LINE-X dealer can call TCUSA and get the Truck Gear model numbers.

Anyone have the rolx from back flip
Lots of people have them and like them. The Roll-X was at the top of my list until Bak announced an updated XT version that is now on hold because Bak got bought out. I got tired of waiting so started looking at the TCUSA and Truck Gear. Also, search for a thread by RDFTS showing the security flaw in the Roll-X. It can be opened with a coat-hanger or similar.
