I have recently bought a 2021 ranger raptor (european), and now trying to work out my options for a lightweight, low height tent, preferably fold out and hard shell.
I need to keep the over height profile low, so I need to be able to mount it on the truck bed instead of the roof.
I have a Mountain top tounneau cover installed. My initial thoughts are crossbars and something like a Wild Land tent. I'm not entirely sure most crossbars would support the weight though. Dynamic load seems to be 75kg, but it's unclear what static loads most bars would support.
At the same time i don't want the setup to overhang too much at the back or the sites when packed up and driving.
Does anyone have any good suggestions worth looking at?
