My original intentions were to order my Raptor with the men step/stripper pole. Then I found this bad boy. The thing I like about it is the cost, it's considerably less than the factory tailgate step. You can also use it with the tailgate open or closed, which is a great feature. It also lifts and lowers easily with one foot.

It is constructed of heavy-duty aluminum with a powder coated finish. The step itself has a non slip surface. It also tucks up nicely under the right side of the rear bumper, when not in use. The step comes with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty

Installation took less than 15 Min's. I'd say it's a one beer job!

The Bestop's model number is: 75302-15 and it fits all F150's '06 Thur '11 including the Raptor. Amp Research also offers a similar step, model number: 75302-01A

Here is a video with all the info you need to install this thing:

They look like they function well, but I'd be surprised if those things lasted long in the high desert with the rock spray I'd be throwin' at 'em

not bad, but some of us don't need a step :)
That's funny stretch... The first/only time I filled up, the attendant at the full service station was about eye level with the bed.

I'm a little jealous. But, at $45K I think I'll take it easy on her for now.

Are gonna put em on both sides, or just one?

It's designed to fit the drivers side only. It utilizes the rear bumper mount bolts/nuts.

It tucks up against tight to the underside of the bumper. But, your probably right about it not holding up well if your doing some heavy duty off roading. idk.
