Transmission running hot in sand

and the larger factory cooler. In town driving my trans temp rarely gets above 160 and towing a trailer never gets above 200.

For Gen1? What if I don't tow or anything? Is this still a good idea?

Yeah, I have a gen 1. My thinking is cooler fluid is better than hot no matter if you're towing or just regular driving.
