Transmission gear indicator light on dash

My transmission gear indicator light on the dash disappeared. The one that shows you what gear your in from 1-10. How do I get it back? It doesn't say in the owners manual

Mine does this as well hit your paddle shifter and it will come back.

Don't need to count, it's always in the 10th gear lol.

there is a recall on some trucks for this. go here to see if there is one on yours.
obviously if the dash went blank then you need to go to the dealer.

Hit the right (+) paddle shifter or the + on the shifter and gear indicator should re-appear.

I just checked my VIN against that recall and my truck isn't "apparently" affected. Guess they don't know the full extent of the issue as my truck is only a week old and is exhibiting this behavior.
