You're most likely seeing a picture of someone's dash after making some ForScan changes. We turned on this feature on our shop truck.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking... Just placed my order for an OBDLink MX+ looks like I'll be learning how to use Forscan next week. Any hint on where in the app to go to enable the temp readout?

Sorry, I didn't see this. I have 802A with tech package if that matters

I can't confirm it on my Raptor because I've never gotten it hot enough to do it, but I know on the 2017-up Super Duties with the 802 equivalent cluster that it does display the numbers when coolant gets up to 220-ish, and I believe slightly warmer than that for trans temp.

Sounds like Forscan does what you want though!

Ok so I got my OBDLink MX+ paired it successfully with my phone and the obdlink app sees it just fine and works perfectly but when I load the FORScan software it says “no elm found” any tips on this issue?

Nvm. Figured it out
But looks like I can’t make changes using my phone and need to use a PC. Does this sound about right?

I got a cheap windoze tablet they suggested in the early for scan guidelines. Not the easiest thing to use, but it works for what I need.

I would use a windows computer...I downloaded the beta version. Once I was approved I was able to go in and change everything I needed. It has a disclaimer next to one of the phone versions that says it wont let you make changes.
