Our friends at SDHQ offer a variety of train horn setups. Here's "The Beast"

The 200 Series Train Horns are the loudest air horns ever. Horns like these were designed with durable materials, are easy to fit and come with extreme sounds. The ABS Trumpets with extra wide bells produce the loudest bone-rattling locomotive blast or sound that can be felt and heard.

Three tuned trumpets, 17-1/2", 14-1/2", 11-1/2". High impact ABS. Flat-rack design requires 40% less clearance than our 500 Series train horns. Trumpets can be separated from the mounting brackets for installation in vehicles that could not otherwise fit full-size trains horns.

Some posts from another forum from people with train horn experience:

They are great when a dumb clueless bitch decides she doesnt want to make a right into the gas station and instead decides she needs to make a left at THAT intersection instead and doesnt see your lifted truck coming down the street in the left lane at about 40 mph. Those horns make dumb people like that nearly snap their neck! Im pretty sure she got the point when I blew mine and she looked in her mirror and saw my HID's right on her ass! lol!

I've had a set on my pickups ever since I was old enough to "aquire" them. X2 on the stupid drivers- a good brain splitting honk can sure pop someone head from their arse in a hurry! (not to say they wont put it right back in). And if I'm in the mood to be an ass- my personal favorite is right after the arms go up at a RR crossing. Priceless!

Some ass hat in our neighborhood got one a monthor so back too.He rolls a lifted chevy with all the bling, expensive shocks, flashy paint etc. ya know one of those hey look at me,look what i got kind of guysbiggrin.gif

When he got the horn installed he would hit it several times coming into the tract, after about 4 days of it he pulled into his driveway and a little car pulled up behind him. Out of the little car steps this giant of a man, with a Marine style haircut, and went off on the guy drill seargant styledrillsergeant.gif for a good 5 minutes, and ever since i have not heard that horn oncebiggrin.gif

i understand train horns for getting ppl to pay attention to their driving but there are way too many asses that use them just to show off
had some jack ass set it off with me in front of them in a parking garage (i was out of my car walking) and all i could think of is what if someone already had hearing damage and was in front of that truck.

All I would be thinking of is what excuse could I come up with for the judge when I go to court, based on being train horned at such a close vicinity, to get me out of gross bodily/property damage charges on the other person if they did it on purpose.
