Trails outside Lake Isabella, CA

I recently went on a surprise adventure this past weekend. I was set to go camping along the Kern River, but when we got there, our "spot" was already taken. So we google mapped a new place on the other side of the river and ended up in a 45 minute offroad trail to get where we wanted to go. Here are a few pics of the trip.

Looks great Chad! That's a good drive for you isn't it? I used to go to Lake Isabella quite often to ride my watercraft (last one I had was a SeaDoo XP limited with a pipe). That lake used to be really nice with flat, glass water when the winds weren't blowing. I haven't been there in some time. The area around there is nice. Next time you're headed anywhere near there or similar distance towards SoCal let me know and we'll see about meeting up.
