Pro comp traction bars

Was wondering if there is a difference between the pro comp traction bars and doing the deaver spring replacement. Besides 900 dollar difference.

Personally I think the 900 dollar difference is totally worth it for the new leaf springs. With the traction bar your just stiffening the rear end and the stock leafs are pretty ****** cause they can't really handle off road bumps at speed very well. The ass end feels like it wants to jump off the ground a lot. with the better leaf springs in the rear your improving the ride quality an beefing up the rear end so it can handle more. I just got the RPG stage 3 kit for the rear with national leaf springs and it's worth every penny plus the guys over at RPG know how I take care of FRF members :waytogo:

One member had Pro-comps on for a while... They were a bend and repair after every ride off road. He has since changed to new springs...

I know ye olde Wiz1500 had the traction bars for a while, but soon opted for springs. Springs make a world of difference.

If you're going to be hauling a little weight, check into WSI's option. His HD springs are only $1000, and I can vouch for them. Wouldn't recommend on an empty bed, but throw 300+ lbs in there and it's like butta.

Dont trac bar.... Period... Get leafs...
Trav bars kill your performance an travel. If you snap rear driveshafts cause your axle hoppin its not the trucks fault. It means your a idiot.

I ran them on my 2010 Raptor and had full suspension articulation.

They eliminated wheel hop completely. Never had any issues
