I am thinking of buying Toyo M/T 35x17 wondering if these tire change the ride of the truck. (bumpier) I have read that the side walls are thicker the the stock BFG's.
Does the weight of the Toyo's change the ride significantly? Also any balance issues.

Yes, the ride will change. It will be louder on the street and will be a bit "bumpy" when going slow.

I daily drive my Raptor on 37" Toyos and would not change them for anything...plus they look amazing.

Quick update:
Toyo's installed, truck actually rides way better then the stock BFG tires!!!
Little louder not bad at all.
There is a small amount of low speed shudder due to the tread lugs, but only until 5 MPH.
Looks killer drives and steers better too.
Now if I can reset TMPS the truck will be better than new.

You should be able to do the reset that the manual outlines or take it to the dealer or a tire shop to have them reset.

We've had customers do the swap and have no issues with changing over TPMS and others that had to have their tire shop reset them.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Just curious how the "truck rides way better than the stock BFG tires?"

Especially in light of what TMX said...

shouldnt have to reset the tpms... just fill with correct psi and the sensors should read it fine

He needs to reset the tpms because the Toyo's are supposed to be at a lower psi than stock. The psi the Toyo's want to be at, is lower than the pressure the warning comes on at.
