Absolutely flawless truck, needed some paint correction due to improper washing/drying. Interior was like brand new. Zero rust, the frame leaf springs and all other components looked like new. The only hint of rust I saw was around the tops of the shock body (which is common). Minus the obvious motor problems, easily 9/10 everywhere else. Mechanics opinion is that it sat way way to much and they likely were doing way to infrequent oil changes and going off mileage and not changing it based on shelf life. He said it likely wasn’t driven enough and that is what has led to ring/seal failure. This was only a guess on his part but considering how spotless the truck is, likely a good guess. Someone was attempting to preserve every other part of the truck by keeping the miles low and that may have led to its demise.
