Hi all,

I am ordering my raptor and first change is going to be wheels and tires. I am leaning toward methods and need to decide on tires. Truck will be a daily driver and with where I live that means, highway, rain, snow. Offroading will be almost exclusively soft sand and firm dirt roads. No mud. I am thinking about the following-Nitto Terra Grapplers, Toyo AT, Wrangler Duratec and stock BFGs. I like the larger tire look but no need for Mts.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm a big fan of the stock BFGs but the duratracs are a very good tire as well. Also the new redesigned toyo ATII is another good option for an all terrain.

i was in the same boat contemplating what tires to get - narrowed it down to two completely different tires - Toyo AT II and the Goodyear MTR/K. toyo is a 35x12.50r17 and the mtr is a 315/70r17. so technically the mtr should be smaller:

granted this is unmounted, and no wheel - but the mtr is taller and wider. the toyo is an e load rating versus the d rating of the goodyear. im leaning towards the mtr now, but i havent seen the tires in person yet - wheels should be in next week.

AT2 is my next tire for sure ! Friend is running them on a ram cummins, claims its the best tire he's ever had. Curious about snow use though..
