I'd take it, but I have yet to see one with the factory camera mounted to it. I imagine you'd have to unplug it every time you open the damned thing.

Thats my biggest thing. I love my camera and don't want to have to weld a tab to mount the ford badge and deal with extending the wires

All you would need to do is use a different back up camera with a new lead. I'm sure you could buy the plug from Ford and have any audio shop make you a quick harness. That way you don't touch your factory cam...

Talk to SDHQ because they have been putting the camera in the license plate. Take a look at Jake Y's build and you'll see how he set his up.
