Probably just black. I'm not flashy.
Remember colors will fade a wear from road grime over time. I had rpg tie rods on my gen1 without color and they held up well in the harsh NE winters

@Dane - I've had the RPG tie rods for practically the whole life of my 125k miles over 6 years. I've put then through much abuse and they have held up. And even through mechanics that don't know how to adjust them (like mentioned above). I would recommend them. And as Rick mentioned, the draw back is the exposed heim joint. You should really replace it once a year. I do mine every other year. RPG, SDHQ and Summit all sell replacement parts. About $70 to rebuild. I do prefer the dust boots, and I fill them with electrical grease (compatible with teflon) to keep things lubricated. You can also use dry teflon film from home depot.

You will also need a 14mm hex key socket to install the clevis on the steering gear.

Oh, and steering gear. If you have any warranty remaining, it may not be covered due to the aftermarket tie rods.

I totally forgot about drilling out the knuckle hole! I guess it has been a while. I added that to my list above.

You can go a step ahead and get the bolts / kit from sdhq. It’s a smaller bolt with tapered pond which don’t require you to drill out the knuckle.

I went this route. And took them off when I sold the truck and went back to stock.
