Had the same experience, bent the wires and now they are all ok. I agree on the LED's not being bright enough. I asked Recon and they told me that they have brighter LED's.I mounted the HID's and do have a straight cut off. Drove about 2000 miles in the dark last 2 weeks, no blinking from ongoing traffic and a far better view than with the original lights.Agree on the comments on the Halo's, they should have done better
