I've been lucky when it comes to extended warranties.

Wifes Ecoboost 3.5L developed a oil leak between the head and block at 61k miles.
That ~2k warranty paid for itself there after the tear down and new parts.
Sold the truck shortly after and got the prorated refund from the remaining warranty.

That and AC issues and steering pumps on my older Gen 1 after 36k were replaced for free.

I think this case is more of a lazy dealer service area than the actual warranty.

Yeah I will definitely not be going back to this dealer. And they're supposedly the number one dealer in the world. They sell crazy modified new cars and trucks. But Ford also seems like they're taking their sweet time.

Called Ford and they said they had no update and would call me on Thursday. I think I'm at my end now. I will be contacting a lawyer to see what my options are. Does anyone by any chance have a lawyer or firm they can recommend? Thanks! Thanks for letting me vent. Fells better knowing i'm not crazy and being unrealistic.

Legal threat got them to call me and let me know that they have denied my warranty due to outside influence. Guess I'll see them in court. This will be the last Ford I own.

Outside influence?

What a ****** service department.

This is disheartening to say the least that they are denying you for mods that wouldn't affect the broken parts?

Yeah and ford Corporate said it would be different if I purchased it CPO (which I was under the impression that it was) but apparently the Ford dealer I bought it from didn't CPO it. That makes no sense to me though because it has the factory power train warranty. So do I pay to get my truck back then pursue legal action or just leave my truck there? I am seriously disappointed that Ford wont stand behind their product. Especially a Raptor which is marketed for offroading.

pay to get fixed, sell off your mods to recoup some $$ and trade it in on something you want. what's the cost for the fix?

Screw that, if he settles then potentially everyone who owns Deavers can just have their warranty voided.
