First off… Why isn't there a Gen3 Forscan area?

I’ve tried changing the following and the 2023 won’t take the changes, everything is back to OEM build after entering codes???

Auto start stop disable- it worked for a half hour then reverted back

Bambi mode—-the codes were already from the factory as the spreadsheet recommended—-no change possible

Disable seat belt dinger—- this took !

Stereo gain mod—-this did improve the entire sound

Has anyone got work around for any of these on an 023 Gen3

There's a long long thread specifically focused on gen3 Forscan. You'll get more answers in there. 85+ pages if my memory serves me. But, what the heck...we can always use another one.

Start/stop diable requires you to disable two settings. The second one will eliminate start/stop but the battery indicator light on the dash will stay on b/c it affects the battery management system.

IPC: Auto stop start: Disabled (enabled default)

BdyCM: BMS/Auto stop start Disabled (enabled default)

Start at post 825. Seems to be a Gen2 thing. At least according to @Antho . If it worked for Reno on his Gen3, @BIGW0RM will be happy.

I’ll try the auto restart again, I made both changes and the dash light def turned off but not the function.

Seems the 022 codes don’t work on 023

Prob why goosetuned doesn’t have a tune for 023 either..internal changes

I spoke to Goosetune as he did my last truck and was inquiring on doing the 23. He said its simply a security lock on the ECU that needs to be opened up to allow for tuning.
