Additives suck.

I've always done cooler Tstat on boosted and tuned vehicles and it will always make your motor run cooler. It's simple, it allows full cooling by opening the thermostat at a lower temp, and your e-fans can be programmed in the tune to turn on sooner- maybe in Forscan too.

It's cheap and you don't sound like an ******* saying Water Wetter works when with friends or at a car event or forum.

kpg81 - 100% agree. Also when you are running hotter especially if you live when ambient temperature is hot to start, the engine is closer to the heat point which pre-ignition/detonation becomes more of a concern and the computer will start pulling timing back. I believe with these engines you are best served to have high octane and a 180 degree engine too allow timing adv and more boost.....more power. With the 170 thermo in I run right about at 180.

I've been using one bottle of WW in both cooling systems for 5 years now, as per Whipple's recommendations.
I use Ford Gold in the HE system and Ford Orange in the Radiator.
I buy the pre mix 50/50
NO Problems here!!!

That one guy from a google search suggestion in a earlier post, was using multiple bottles.
And who knows what Anti-Freeze and water mix %.
