Its part of the base warranty. Your alignment is covered for 12months or 12k miles. Mine was in about 11k to adjust the tow as it was feathering the front tires.

Ford needs to "prove" the modification has caused premature wear and tear or the actual failure before the warranty claim can be denied. Yes the "perch" setting is considered a "adjustment" to everyone here however ford considered it a "modification" as it did not leave the assembly plant that way.

I will be adjusting mine when I get the chance....
