I am being lazy and not reading 19 pages of banter but has anyone pointed out the following.1. FRF / Off-roading Raptor owners is maybe 10% of total raptor ownership on the high side.2. Most raptors are poser street queens. The 10% of us that use the truck as intended are most likely on this forum.3. Should Ford cater to the 10% or the 90% of market shares? (Rhetorical as they should cater to 10% dammit HAHA) The new Raptor while having all the fun gadgets and fixes does for now show a focus more towards street use. BMW and Audi are perfect cases where they are making cars for the masses not the enthusiasts. They need to make money and meet share holder expectations, yada yada you know this alreadyI think the new Raptor looks good but as I have stated how will the new motor and 10 speed do in the hands of owners. We as owners can test trucks in ways designers never fathomed. I personally love the V8 for simplicity and in offroading as the truck was intended simple is better. All the complexity of cooling and pipes to cool the engine / turbo air and so on is a lot more brake points over time from vibration. So whether you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 don't care. But Gen 2 needs to be in the hands of owner (FRF members) to see how good / reliable it is over 4 years as Gen 1 has. Remember Gen 1 started off not so hot (bent frames)Noodle on that Batman
