You say the V6 sounds like shit and is poorly balanced but we haven't heard the new engine unless you are assuming that the race truck is a production vehicle, and its not. Sound is subjective. I'm more concerned with performance. As for poorly balanced, explain how you can state this unequivocally. Are you a Ford engineer? Do you design or build these engines? Have you ever built any engine?

I suppose you think fuel injection is ******** too and we should go back to carburetion?

All you have done in this thread is spout off your opinion and try to pass it of as fact.

The V6 is more efficient than the V8. If it produces the same HP and TQ as the 6.2 and gets the same MPG it is already more efficient as it has done so with less displacement and less weight. It will most likely get better MPG and definitely get more HP and TQ. This is fact.

So now unless you have some factual data, not your biased opinion, to show why the V6 is not a competitor to the V8, you can **** off.
