Hello from Pulaski Barracks, Kaiserslautern Germany. Took delivery today and very excited so far. Completly worth it for the confused look on the faces of local Germans in our village alone. I am concerned about possible fuel siphoning, is this a concern? Doesn't seem that it would work to me. Thanks all.

I'm also very worried about this due to the "Easy Fuel Cap". It seems there are two tabs on the side of the inside of this cap where the fuel nozzle will fit into thus pressing both tabs away and unlocking the "cap"???? If this is how it works then wouldn't a hose do the same and thus unlock the "cap"?

I hope someone answers your question soon cause I'm also worried.

Anyways, welcome! I'm a new member too and I've been reading tons about this truck already..

I thought our trucks (and most F150s) had the anti-syphon technology in the capless cap or tube itself? I could be wrong.

Don't they have the mesh screen in the tube any longer? That prevents any hose from going down the neck but allows the fuel to flow through.

welcome!

I would be interested to see if you have any issues with how big and wide it is over there...

welcome, I was stationed in germany a few months ago too, and the roads are not raptor friendly at all.

Lydon, I was over there on the last of the 15 month trips not long ago (FOB Torkham). Your right about the roads here. Keep your head down.

welcome!

It's not that bad. Most of the primary roads are large enough and many stay as far away as possible so far. Parking, that's not going to happen in any city here. If there is a large lot I just go to the far end and take two spots. That's about the same size as one American spot. They entertain it as long as your at the end of the lot. So far it seems as far as German people go, either they are in awe, stare and seem to like it or, shake the head and just hate on the truck in general. The later being the older crowd. This area is no stranger to "big US trucks". You see them everywhere. A guy in my last unit had a F250 SCrew extended bed. Long story short, he was all but arrested at the Swiss border because they said it violated EU regulations for the size of a private passenger vehicle. Fun times. Thanks everyone for the replies. I really like the site and have lurked for awhile.
