I wonder if you can alter the modes for instance in Baja could you then switch back to 2wd but still have the other Baja settings. The settings for TC, ABS and Stability may be different in Baja then if you change those settings manually i.e. 2wd, Sport or off for TC and Stability, probably on manual changes for ABS.

I have driven a lot of media around at events like this one and they really don't get that much our of it because we set the events up to highlight the vehicle and hide any weakness. But still nice to see them in action.

I also remember talk of fake engine noise in the cab and at least in the video it sounds ok inside. Still not a fan yet of the outside exhaust. The proof will be in real life.

The good news is that you can still pic you own settings, they just may not be the same TC and Stability maps that are in the set modes. Those maps may or may not be to everyones likings.

For instance I don't always like Offroad mode on my truck so it is TC in Sport and Tow haul mode sometimes 2wd or 4wd. This is my Snoball setting. Offroad Mode is great for Gravel Rally course opening/ Sweep.

The key here is there are choices you can make and find what works for you, and I do think there are going to be places where the terrain selector will be cool and make things easy and fun.

Maybe I missed it somewhere but I'm surprised baja mode engages 4H. Kinda disappointed in that.

From what I gathered from the two videos (this one and TFL) you can choose what you want to be on and off.

So there is a good chance you can engage baja mode then use the selector to put it back into 2H instead of being in the default 4H. Hopefully thats the case but at this point Im just speculating with what little we know.

This may be a possibility that I hope they allow. I would if I were designing it.
