Remove the boat from the situation as it’s not relevant anyway.

I can no longer select an off road mode with no trailer attached.

Ford got in touch with me today and they stated the system was not grounded properly so it prevented the selection of an off road mode.

This happens with me when the bottom of the car gets in the sand/mud/water. I think it's a sensor malfunction, to solve, I either drive it off or pressure wash.

I also had this happen the other day. Hit a deep puddle at about 45mph on a trail and got terrain management fault, stability control fault, hill start fault, collision warning fault. I stopped to check under the hood. Almost no water got under there. Found this thread and tried driving away to see if it went back to normal and it did after about 1 minute.
