Sync Issues

[CB Freshness]

For a few weeks the truck has been syncing with my phone and then as soon as that is complete it unsyncs. Now as of yesterday it will sync and connect via a USB and say it's playing music but there is not volume. Tried master reset and this continued. Any suggestions

Happened to me once and turning off the truck after deleting the phone from the system then resyncing after seemed to work.

It only gives me like 5 seconds to connect & then says no phone added WTF

I'd like to look into this further. It looks like you're both using an iPhone, is that correct?

Do you have MyFord Touch or a standard radio?

Okay. I think I know what you're doing although it isn't clear what you're saying.

First:

Is your phone connecting through bluetooth or are you hooked up to usb?

If usb, you have to let it know that you are using usb input.

If bluetooth you have to let it know to use bluetooth media\audio.

Don't know why user defaults are sometimes reset.

You just have to let it know what input you are using.

Yea but I'm trying to get my Bluetooth to connect for making phone calls, not to play music
