Sync 3 Update issue

My 2019 Screw keeps telling me to connect to a wifi source or fordpass to complete a update for sync. Ive done all this and it never says ive completed a update. I just keep getting the same prompt. Any one else with this problem?

Updates for Sync have never worked over WiFi. Ford used the have a website called Syncmyride where you downloaded from their site to a USB stick to update the software. That site was extremely buggy.

Their new site is https://owner.ford.com

Register/login there and you'll see a section for Sync. If a update is available you'll still need to download the unzipped files to a USB stick then plug it into the truck while it's running.

I just completed the update last week and took about 15 minutes. No noticeable difference except for those pesky notifications when I started the truck disappearing on the Sync screen.

Lol what? I have 3 fords and every single one has updated over wifi. 2017 MKX, 2018 Raptor, 2019 Raptor.

In your menu on the dash, turn off automatic updates and it will turn off the message. I agree auto updates do not seem to work over wi-fi. I left my truck on for hours and it didn't work, the only way it worked was the USB route.
