GEN 2 Sync 3 Question voice

I'm getting an 801 A 2017 Ford Raptor.

With CarPlay do I need to get the additional voice connect/navigation package to use Siri?

I don't care for the extra $700 for navigation when you can use sync 3 with CarPlay.

Waiting on mine to arrive but as far as I can tell Siri will work with any Sync 3 systems.
