Yup, it will warn you when you try to update.

SCT is phasing out support on the X3 and focusing on the X4 and Livewire.
But just want to add latest X3 SCT scanners for Fords should be OK.

Yeah, now I've got to mess around and see where I like it and not like it.

I'm noticing from a stop and in the lower gears it's very quick to respond however at cruising 60+ and then to get on it, there is substantial hesitation prior to downshifting twice to pass...

Overall I like it, just have to get it fine tuned for my truck... Definitely should not have waited so long before doing this.

Any more updates?

I swapped from V1 to V2 this week and also noticed that 2nd gear had more power. The launch from a stop was definitely better. I did a KAM reset when I put V2 in, and the truck is still re-learning my driving style. I had been getting 14.9mpg, and now have 15.2mpg after I made the first fillup.

Yeah, I'm wondering if I should reset my KAM or reinstall the whole tune...

I mention this because the fuel economy. (Keep in mind I didn't buy the truck for fuel economy) however ever since installing the tune my fuel economy has tanked.

Last Snoball (no tune) I averaged 12.8 for the whole 1500 miles. This year (with tune) I averaged 10.2. It was EXTREMELY colder last year (-17 compared to average of 30 this year)

I would constantly get 15-16 why and now i'm down to 11-12 if I'm lucky. In the city I would normally get 12-13 and now I'm 8-10. This is after the Snoball. I'm wondering if it learned the fact that the truck would run balls out for three days and idle all day. That may have had something to do with how it relearned everything.

I would have expected that the 93 octane would have given me at least 1-2 mpg better than normal.

Thoughts? Reset KAM - Reinstall Tune - leave alone.

Thanx.

I never reset my KAM and both trucks run and shift perfect. My avg mpg is at 12.4. Was at 12.5 before installing my aggressive SVC tune. Reason for my small loss and no gain is because I'm always using the pedal enjoying how strong the tune is. My boy is at 11.9. When I want good mpg I drive my shop car (Nissan Sentra)! Like you said, I didn't buy our Raptors for fuel economy.

Clean the air filter or replace.

Leave it alone, just press and hold the mpg while on a highway drive it will stay up to 12-15mpg.
If you reset while driving in town 8-10mpg it would take 100 miles or more of slow cursing on the highway before it climbs back up.

This is what I have experienced over the past 4 years.

I have been told by the dealer the tune will void warranty. Ive had my truck in the dealer multiple times trying to get my shift points fixed "surge shifting. extremely hard shifts". They replaced the valves but cant get the tuning down. I keep asking to allow me to get your tune to fix my problems but they said it will void my entire warranty if I do so.

Any truth to this or is it just the dealer being a ****.

Change center display to Off-Road mode and stop leaving it on the MPG screen, problem solved.
