ADD used to outsource powder, but they brought it in-house about 2-3 years ago and that led to a significant improvement in their powder QC. Now, every once in awhile we do get a partially missed weld which can lead to a rust issue. It happens when you've got a large operation and you're running welders in 3 shifts, 7 days a week producing bumpers that are welded by hand. While ADD does have QC in place and takes photographs of every single bumper before it leaves the shop, issues like this do get missed. With all the ADD bumpers we've sold over the years, I've had two instances of missed welds that caused rust and both times ADD sent the customer a complete replacement. Yes, the top plate is removable.</blockquote>
