I am exploring the idea of supercharging the truck, looking probably at JDM's 590hp package with the roush supercharger.

My question is regarding miles. The truck is at 55k miles now, should I be considering any additional refreshes on parts? Such as new valve springs? Should I consider redoing the heads ahead of time? Anything in the drivetrain? Or will it be fine as is?

Upgrading to the billet oil pump gears at time of SC installation would be a wise investment.
Have you talked to JDM?
Whipple's new Gen 4 Stage 2, when you select the 65mm TB and HE with fans is the way to go.
Cost more but you won't regret it.

Don't forget, you're going to need to invest in traction bars.

Either:

https://krazyhousecustoms.com/khc-off-road-ford-raptor-torque-arm/

I have been looking at that kit as well. However, I'm having issues trying to understand their site. Their pictures show that a cold air intake is included, yet its not in the parts list, and when you go to superchargers, there is no option to buy the intake.

Furthermore, I don't see anything about warranty with the whipple stuff?

Both Roush and Whipple do not offer the supplemental warranties any longer,
that stopped about 5 1/2 years ago for 2010 1/2 thur 2014 Gen 1s.

Both kits are complete kits minus the upgrades, when you add the upgrades in the buy section page the price will change.

I supercharged mine at 50K miles. I would recommend doing the the oil pump at the time of the supercharger - otherwise when you do decide to do it you have to pull it all off. It's standard to replace your plugs as part of the install, but make sure you do. Also, I had issues with blowing stock exhaust manifolds and a cat. I've since gone to a full exhaust.

I have inquired advice from both Dane and MTF before my install. I did do the melling oil pump with a set a NGK plugs during my roush 590 install.
Later I added the bigger throttle body and JDM tune. About 1000 miles on the truck so far without issue.

My exhaust is just a cat back 18” single in and out muffler.

I have a 2014 Gen1 Whippled Shelby...Mods were done when truck had "0" miles...right from dealer to Shelby...it just turned 55K and runs like day it was bought...FAST!
A lot have asked about mods to actual engine and seems like the 6.2L is a workhorse and can survive the added HP...With that said...only things to look for or do that I know aside from actual SC package is doing the Oil pump, and of course new plugs...and a new Exhaust wouldnt hurt...loads of extra mods to add...all depends on how much is in your budget.

I don't have traction bars and it's fine. I also have upgraded to full exhaust, a larger heat exchanger, throttle body, and 69mm pulley. The truck moves.

I'll admit I'm not trying to drag race on pavement though - a full launch from a stop is kinda ugly. If you are, the bars are probably needed, but other than that, mine is fine even under pretty hard acceleration.
