Took down the headliner a few weeks ago, cleared all 4 drains with compressed air, then washed the sunroof with water for 30 mins, no leak present. Finally got some rain for a few days, and the standing water has returned on the driver side.

What gives?

I have had leak in the same area on both driver and passenger side. Mine comes from rain/water draining down windshield and main exit is down wheel hub. It is getting diverted and leaking into driver side compartment. Taking of the plastic protector and going to apply 3M auto body caulking around anything that looks like a crack. Stay tuned.

IIRC some had issues with the windshield not sealing properly... might not be the sunroof, although that is the most common source.

I had a seal fail that caused the leak. I think I still have the paperwork but during a light rain the truck was fine. But a heavier rain is when I noticed there was a leak. The drains weren't clogged but I guess once the water hit a certain level the failed seal is where it went down the front right and into the floor drain.
