sunroof doest seal

Anyone have this problem? The glass will slide closed but does not lift up to seal nor will it open to be in the vent position.

Nope...I know Boss Hoss had some problems...I never use mine...the only thing I can say is check the tracks for debris and clean the tracks and take it to the dealer...

The vent potion is all I really use anyway...

That sucks! Try cycling it back and forth fully a couple of times, and hopefully you get lucky. You may have to bring it in to your dealer, hopefully you still have warranty.

Got an appt with dealer on thursday. Tried cycling a bunch of times with no luck. And still have some standard warrenty left plus got it used and it was certified by ford so I have that warenty as well.

I had this issue and my dealer said "it was out of alignment". They took it apart, cleaned the tracks, and out it back together. Works like new again and all under warranty.

Well gas I hope that is my problem. How long did it take for them to fix it

Well heard from the dealer yesterday, part is on order should be in Monday. Part price alone is 900.00 bucks. Its the track assembly. Then they need to take the headliner out to install. So glad warrenty covers this. ......

Wow...I would not have opted for the sunroof if not already on the truck...or let me put it another way, I would not pay any extra for it unless it was included in a must have package from the factory.

Yea man glad to see the warranty will cover it! That's always a good feeling haha I didn't want te sun roof and from the few guys I've heard about havin problems with them I'm glad I didn't get it even though it took an extra month to get the truck cause I had to order it the dealerships around me only had supercrews fully loaded with sunroofs and touch screen navs I didn't need all that fancy shit haha just wanted a stock scab to mod out!

Thanks guys... I bought mine used...I did want the sunroof...but looks like it will stay closed after its fixed
