My name is Nick, but I’m also known as Strongarm. For the past 16 years I have been unable to leave a perfectly good car/truck alone. I tend to get my hands, blood, sweat, and tears all over them. Plenty of profane saliva as well! I’m sure you all know far too well the disease we all carry!

I bought this truck with the intention of building a fun rig to spend countless hours in with my family. We plan to take road trips, host tailgate parties, enjoy some off road adventures, go camping, drop the kids off at school, and to do it all with a grin on our faces! I've registered for the Raptor Assault May 28th-29th!

First things first, I needed to get with my friends at Corsa to go with an intake and exhaust combo for the truck. I know what they say about putting exhaust on the Gen2, however, I was willing to put the trust in my good friends at Corsa to get me the sound I’m looking for! The Corsa Sport Catback paired with the Corsa Resonator Delete X Pipe is giving me the sound I was hoping for. Deep idle and strong cold starts that I’ve come to love with my Corsa setups.

While waiting for the delivery of the initial parts, I also wanted to grab some essentials. Since we take the truck on family trips, a tonneau cover and bed liner were going to be fast tracked to the top of the priority list. I had really loved the Bedrug and BAK Roll-X that I had on my 2012. This time around, I decided to stick with the Bedrug and switch it up to the MX4. So far, I am very happy with this decision.

I really appreciate the look of the factory Carbon Fiber option. However, I felt it needed just a bit more too round out the look. I felt the option left some parts untouched that wouldn't been nice to have in carbon. I had heard good things about Voodonalla and how well they match the OEM weave with their synthetic carbon pieces, so I decided to bite the bullet.

It seems like the common move is to throw the BuiltRight Industries catalog at these trucks. I tested the waters with the rear seat release and the dash mount. I followed suit and ran the dash mount with a couple of ram mounts. One is for a 67 Designs phone mount, and the other is a nice and robust articulating mount for iPads. Works great with the standard iPad and even accommodates my 12.9" iPad Pro.

I prefer the added benefits of running front a rear dash cams, so I went with the tried and true DR650S-2CH for my truck. I ran this same camera in both my Mustang and my Hellcat, and it's worked great thus far. May consider upgrading it to a 4k version soon. Easy to install, and even easier to operate.

Nice Truck. I have the same color and also got my from Future Ford but my is 2017. I have the Cobb stage 2 set up with Ford/Borla exhaust and carbon Fiber Tips. I also just installed a custom made RTT bed rack on top of a Pace Edward roll top cover. Works out very nice. I am planing to attend the 4WP big sales that happen every year in San Mateo.

How is the bed holding up? On keep it dirty Offroad they were having a issue with the bed squishing down with heavy off-roading and just a light rack. Squishing so bad it as sitting on the bump stop kit.

I have no issues at all, but I don’t do heavy off-roading. Just camping off grids with very light off roads. I mounted a RTT with 4 rotopax’s, recovery boards etc.. on the rack with no problems. I just install a Krazy house custom bed brace on the bed just to keep the bed square.
