So I have been on here for about a year. Thinking about selling my 2020 SCAB 801a w/ 4,500 miles. According to KBB and NADA it’s worth WAY more than the dealership and CarMax are offering. This isn’t my first rodeo, and I know how these things go... BUT I’ve never seen offers this far off before. Could it be that KBB and NADA’s “value” algorithm is off? I went to 2 dealers and CarMax. Anyone else have any insight to their recently sold 2019-2020’s?

You should get about 15% below invoice (or maybe a little less) on trade. What were they offering?

After looking around online I haven’t found anything with below 10,000 miles for under 50k.

Private party sale is your answer. Dealers are sitting on a ton of over- priced used inventory plus auction prices are starting to decline.

Plus SCREWs move. SCABS are 10% of all raptors or so. That’s the market.

I appreciate the response. I do like the look of it and that it’s not like everyone else out there, but if I would have thought this through more I would have gotten the SCREW

Dealerships entire goal is to make money, and your Raptor depreciated the moment you left the lot. With those two basic factors plus the fact it is the least wanted(although rare and cool) cab configuration I really wouldn't expect to see a great offer, it's not that anyone is trying to rip you off it's just that the circumstance has has dramatically dropped the value of the vehicle before you even decided to sell it. Honestly to expect anything close to your original invoice is foolish, everything is only worth what people are willing to pay for it.
