Special order discount pricing?

Has anyone heard of any dealers that will let you order your Raptor and sell to you at or near invoice? Most everyone adds the exterior $2k ripoff sticker package that I don't want. Invoice minus holdback might be asking too much. Any leads appreciated.

Ordering a custom Raptor at/or below invoice is going to be tough. Reach out to Zook Motors Ford in PA. They were one of the only dealerships that were selling Gen 2s at invoice in 2017 and 2018—they did the same thing on Gen 1s. Joe Rupp is who I dealt with. Last time I talked to Joe was June of 2019, and they were selling Gen 2s at $1k over invoice. Don’t know what they are selling them at now.

Also, there is no telling how long it will take to get one if you custom order a Raptor. With the transfer case plant being damaged in SC, there are a lot of unknowns. You will probably get your best deal finding one on a lot somewhere—that’s the only way you are going to get into the holdback numbers.

What color and options are you looking for? I didn’t buy my truck with graphics. I probably still know of a few dealers in the southeast that have such trucks. But I imagine there should be some up near you too. Lol you just have to painstakingly going through each ad on cars.com looking up window stickers.

And Auto Trader and Car Gurus and True Car and Kelly Blue Book. Where do you think I am when not posting on here? I will check Zook. Looking for a 2020 Leadfoot Screw, 802a with everything except those damn ugly graphics. Recaro seats and beadlocks too. Thanks

I should've said earlier that I want the Recaro optional seats. That's why I figure I might have to go special order. Timing is no biggie on my end. That is a dealer I drive by in Portland quite often. Prime Ford in Saco has the same truck and similar deal. Was just down to see it last Thursday. A salesman who just happened to be in the lot joked that if I had my truck in the service department that we could talk in person all day. But our lovely Butt Governess has made car sales a phone or computer only thing. He flipped me his card and said call anytime. Funny.

Mine was a custom order and there was no bargaining with the dealership. I've bought 4 vehicles from them and there was no give on pricing, no 0% financing. They did give me $21500 for my 2012 F-150 FX4 with 57k miles on it though.......

That’s what I had to wrestle with myself. I liked the Recaros, but I wasn’t going to pay a premium for them.

I figure as much. Maybe look for 30-45 days then settle for the black seats.

I'm in Austin, TX. I bought mine recently from Covert Ford b/c the other big dealer in town all had exterior graphics. I don't know what invoice is, but I got about 6750 off of MSRP less than 3 weeks ago.
