Hmmmm... wonder what the SVT treatment is gonna look like. If there's one gripe I've got with the Raptor, its the instrument panel's stuck-in-2002 digital readout.

Something I was really hoping for by waiting for a 2011. Good to see this made it on, the 2011 one on the Superduty is really slick.

Perhaps that would be a somewhat easy swap for us with the 2010s. Of course, I'm just being optimistic. Something similar to that is what I was expecting to see in our model year.

I had heard about this a while back and started wondering about retro fitting it to our '10's. Couple of things have to be considered though.......will it fit inside our current instrument cluster or will the new instrument cluster be totally different? I love my SVT gauges! Also, there are sensors to tell all of the information given on that screen...you want the info center, you need to get all the sensors too, that's the hard part. Not sweating it myself but, it would be really cool to have, I've seen it in person and it's awesome. If they put it in the '11 Raptor, which I would think they would, we'll have a better shot at putting it in ours.

I am willing to bet that you will need a new IC... that said if you want your SVT badging order an IC for a 2011 raptor...

I think most of the functionality will work just fine... I imagine everything is on the vehicle bus... the only things that I do not think will work will be the roll and pitch system... I imagine that the 2010 trucks do not have the sensors (though they might have for hill descent control)...

I bet they pull the roll and inclination data from the AdvanceTRAC sensors.

Since our 2010's have traction control, stability control and roll over protection I would assume the sensors are already in place - which already provide that data to several ECU's currently.

Just a guess though.

Not sure if hill descent control cares about angles. I think it uses the VSS (vehicle speed sensor), the ABS/TC system and the brake hardware - again just a guess.
