Hello to you all,

Put my order in a few weeks ago on 2012 Tux SCREW, Lux package. Waiting on exact guaranteed delivery date but right now Exchange is saying no later than 2 Sep.

Stationed out of San Diego, 19-year Navy guy and extremely excited about getting the truck finally. Have talked about it for a year and then borrowed a new Chevy from a buddy for a Boy Scout camping trip and the wife from that point on was pushing for me to get a truck. Even though we are Ford Family through and through.

Saw a Raptor driving buy and LOVED it. Looked at Raptor at a dealer here in San Diego but wanted to wait until I could order through the Military Exchange program...wait was painful. Went to other Ford dealer and looked at FX4 with EcoBoost and drove it - thought it was a nice truck and the Manager was begging me with an INCREDIBLE deal to take it, but I finally just said "no, I will regret it within 2 months if I don't buy the Raptor". Wife said she would be happy with either but she thought I should go Raptor!

So, now it is just the wait and looking at all the mods I want. Have been lurking on the forum for a month or so and the information is very helpful and appreciated. Will post pics when I get her in a few months.

Thanks!
Debo

Welcome and thanks for your service!

The wait might be painful, but once you get it, it'll be worth every minute. You'll want to sleep in the truck the first night, trust me.
