I know the Gen 2 was completely redesigned from the Gen 1, and I have a question regarding the rear of the truck, specifically the sides of the bed around the wheel wells. The backs of the Gen2 trucks appear narrower than the Gen 1's with the rear fenders being more stream lined and not as flaired out. You can even see it when looking at the truck from the rear, it just doesnt appear to be as wide as the Gen 1 trucks are. Does anyone else notice this?

Should be the same, or damn close. It's just a visual thing. The difference is the Gen 1 bed gets all of it's additional width from the fender curving out farther, with the top of the bedside being equal to a non-Raptor. The Gen 2 is also the same at the top of the bedside as a non-Raptor, but then it immediately steps out and has way less curvature below that step out. The Gen 2 bedsides end up basically looking flat like every other truck on the road. Same thing for the front fenders. It's the main reason I prefer the Gen 1 styling- it just looks wider, even if it's not. I also prefer the taller bed height- the 2015+ trucks don't have as much "sidewall" on the bed/fenders. Good for reaching over to grab stuff, but looks wise it's meh.

Yes, I agree with you with the styling in the rear. I much prefer the rear styling of the Gen 1's. They looked much wider from the rear and much more aggressive. Its one of the reasons I love the Raptor, its always looked different from other pick ups on the road. Like you said, I guess its just a visual thing and its something that i have to get used to. That being said, I actually like the front styling of the Gen 2 much more than the Gen 1 front styling.

I'm not down with the "huge hole in the front" grille everything has nowadays and the Gen 2 Raptor has that in spades. It's a more aggressive look overall with all the angles, no doubt, but I think time will be much kinder to the Gen 1 styling wise than to the Gen 2. The Gen 2 is very trendy with it's huge grille opening and highly styled LED headlights.

At least it doesn't have LED running lights in the bumper!!!!! Talk about a trend that will make a vehicle look dated years from now. The LEDs they have inside the headlight housings of the non-Raptor 2018+ F150s... oh man those are SO, SO bad. I seriously cannot believe someone at Ford looked at the prototype and said, yeah, that looks goooood. They aren't bad in pictures/brochures since they always take the picture from an off angle, but on the streets, they look so cheap and crappy.
